Awesome levers, DO NOT BUY THE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH FOR 2014+ FZ/MT

I bought these levers for an FZ-09 and they've been great. The problem is with the neutral safety switch. When I bought these in September 2023, the neutral switch wasn't working. 1FNGR staff recognized this, and promptly refunded me the cost of the switch. They claim to have solved the issue, but have not.

The provided switch closes the circuit when not depressed (clutch lever out). For any of the US MT models, the circuit needs to be closed to allow the bike to start. This means the bike can be started in gear with the clutch lever out. The circuit is broken when the switch is depressed, leading to the bike being unable to start. Not sure what bikes work the other way around, but it's certainly not these.

1FNGR staff claims to have fixed the issue by grinding the switch's plunger down, but this still leaves the circuit closed when the plunger is out. Internally, the switches are identical. I'm not sure if this rectifies another issue they discovered, but this switch does not work for 2014 and up FZ/MTs.

I've let 1FNGR staff know about the issue, but haven't heard if they are working on a fix nor have they corrected this page.
